Strawberry Cheezecake

I'm sadly disappointed in this #strawberry #cheezecake. The taste starts off okay but is pretty quickly followed up by that classic Daiya icky aftertaste. It was strong enough to make this unenjoyable. The texture was nice though. For the price, please #dobetter. 🍓

Daiya’s Strawberry Cheesecake is good, but like all of their cheesecakes they’re even better when you jazz them up with whipped cream and a few pieces of chopped strawberries or blueberries if you have any on hand. 🍓 🫐 I’ve tried most of their flavors offered—key lime, pumpkin, plain— and I have to say that the strawberry flavor is my fave (have yet to try their chocolate flavor). So with me being a huge cheesecake lover & target having all the daiya products 50% off, I had to snag this! Omg, I love it!! Definitely one of the best vegan cheesecakes! The strawberry flavor is literally so delicious! It's definitely hard to not eat a lot of this at once since it's so good, I highly recommend this cheesecake!

I haven’t reviewed this yet and it’s been a while since I’ve had some but I figured why not. Strawberry vegan cheesecake from daiya. I’ve seen these priced from $7 to $11 when I have been able to find them. The product description has this to say about this product - ‘This tantalizing Strawberry Style Cheezecake is bursting with the sweet, natural flavor of real strawberries.’ I would agree that it is sweet. It’s creamy. It’s fairly high in sugar and carbs. Not as high in sodium as I thought it would be. Pretty high in fat - so if you are watching that - there is some info. The cake has a wonderful creamy, smooth texture. Perhaps I had defrosted it at the right point. As for the taste, I thought it was perfect. I served it to my parents who really enjoyed it as well. My mom who’s lactose intolerant was relieved that because it was plant-based, she’d be able to enjoy it without having to worry about the consequences. I would absolutely get it again.
