Daiya’s Strawberry Cheesecake is good, but like all of their cheesecakes they’re even better when you jazz them up with whipped cream and a few pieces of chopped strawberries or blueberries if you have any on hand. 🍓 🫐 I’ve tried most of their flavors offered—key lime, pumpkin, plain— and I have to say that the strawberry flavor is my fave (have yet to try their chocolate flavor). I haven’t reviewed this yet and it’s been a while since I’ve had some but I figured why not. Strawberry vegan cheesecake from daiya. I’ve seen these priced from $7 to $11 when I have been able to find them. The product description has this to say about this product - ‘This tantalizing Strawberry Style Cheezecake is bursting with the sweet, natural flavor of real strawberries.’ I would agree that it is sweet. It’s creamy. It’s fairly high in sugar and carbs. Not as high in sodium as I thought it would be. Pretty high in fat - so if you are watching that - there is some info. The cake has a wonderful creamy, smooth texture. Perhaps I had defrosted it at the right point. As for the taste, I thought it was perfect. I served it to my parents who really enjoyed it as well. My mom who’s lactose intolerant was relieved that because it was plant-based, she’d be able to enjoy it without having to worry about the consequences. I would absolutely get it again.
