Steak slices

The consistency is very meat-like, and the flavor is accurate as well, just more bland. Not sure I ever had real steak slices so I just didn’t enjoy eating these. The slices itself were quite thick. Warmed up they were better and consistency got softer. Bought at Whole foods, I think the price was around $6-7.

i got these on sale, but i don’t think i’d be able to afford them regularly as the price is a bit high. i used them to make a sandwich with peppers, onions, dijon, and cheese and i thought they were delicious! the texture of these slices is fairly accurate and would do well in a cheesesteak. they do not stay together very easily though, so be careful in taking them out of the package if you want to keep the “slice” format. the taste reminded me of steak but wasn’t quite there yet; however, i do really love the flavor for what it is and by flavor and texture alone i’d definitely purchase these again.

Delicious vegan steak slices for a good hearty sandwich. I used these to make a vegan 🌱 version of a Rueben sandwich and boy was it tasty! I didn’t find the corned beef, but this did the trick! Can be eaten cold or warm, thinly sliced and full of flavor! No animals harmed in the making! #lowfat and 16g of protein per serving! I bet this would be good in a cheese steak sandwich 🥪 like the ones @rosieb33 makes!! I remember some months back I believe she made one with the beyond tips I think. I haven’t personally had hers but hear they are amazing! They’re pretty good they would make an awesome French dip or Italian beef sandwich.

Es algo seca pero me gustó mucho el sabor, sabe mucho a seitán pero el sazonado lo acerca a la carne real. Sólo mejoraría la presentación porque se desbarata muy fácilmente :p
