Soft Bakes Red Fruits

So hey, Belvita now has plant-based breakfast soft-bakes. This was my first time trying. handy I suppose, although a crumbly, so i still eat them out of a bowl. worth acknowledging they’re part of Mondelez international (aka Kraft), who of course have a reputation for being among the top companies for exploiting children, and indeed animals. The Vegan-Soc certification and sunflower label, as we know, tends to apply only to the ingredient list, and is usually blind to other forms of exploitation. In this instance, I myself didn’t stop to consider, but moving forward i’ll be more mindful, and don’t think I’ll recommend or buy from them.

This product is similar to a biscuit. It was a bit to sweet for me, but tasty. I was pleasantly surprised by it having a firmer texture than expected. Will probably buy again

Soft oat biscuits with red fruits. Very filling, which I didn't think they would be before. Unfortunately, there are only 5 pieces in the package, which costs 4 euros. OK as a snack when hiking, but nothing for everyday life.

I was sold on these #biscuits and that's saying something, as I generally prefer firm/crunchy biscuits and these were #softbakes 😛 The promised red fruits were basically #cranberry, which made its presence felt enough to please this #berrylover ☺️ Only 11g of sugar per 50g biscuit, which is pretty good in my book 🤪 Shame about the wasteful plastic packaging. Still a good shout for #breakfastofchampions 💪 Not marked vegan but ingredients are safe; c'mon now #veganisnotscary, #saytheword 😉

Good flavour, the texture is the aspect that doesn't really convinces me, but that's the thing with Soft Bakes. But if you like a softer cookie, the flavour is top notch.
