I expect jerky to be somewhat tough and chewy, and I am definitely a fan of more difficult to chew textures... so this stuff is pretty tasty and fun 😅. Flavoursome and a not too shabby source of fibre #shiitake #mushroom #veganjerky

I did not like this at all 😬 I haven't tried much #veganjerky and actually I don't think I've ever had any #jerky at all lol. But this was just so chewy and tough and hard to eat. I tried a few prices but don't want to finish it. It's very spicy which I don't mind, I just mind that it tastes like chewing a wad of paper 😣 fail....
Amazingly tasty! Even I couldn't finish the pack in one go. It's #chewy and garlicky and a little 🌶. Great with #vegan drinks.
A recent special buy from Aldi, about $3.50ish a packet if I remember right? I know jerky is supposed to be chewy, but this is REAL chewy. Like HIIT for your jaws. I like the flavour, but the toughness of the dried mushrooms was a bit much for me.
The texture is similar to the jerky I remember, very chewy. The taste is quite good: savory, smokey, and quite spicy. My husband doesn't usually enjoy the different types of jerky I try, but he does like these. There are a lot of ingredients, and it is high in sodium (like any jerky will be), but I do like that the main ingredient is mushroom, and the fiber content is excellent. We found these at a discounted price at Woodmans. We will be buying this for hikes, camping and snacking in general whenever the price is good.
