Nothing but love for versatile, delicious, and nutritious ground #flaxseed! I try to incorporate it into at least one meal per day: mixed into my oatmeal, stirred into smoothies, atop toast with almond butter and a sprinkling of cinnamon… the applications are nigh endless. It has a very pleasant, nutty-toasty sort of flavor — one of those precious ingredients that’s #healthy and tastes good, too. Flax is also my favorite egg replacer for #veganbaking (sorry, chia,) because it binds so well and all but vanishes (visually and gustatorily) into the final product. If I had to complain about one thing, it’d be the bag. After repurchasing this product for the umpteenth time, I’ve noticed that, no matter how gentle I am, I’ll consistently break the resealable closure at some point. It’s not a big deal — I just secure the top with a clip or transfer to another container — and that’s the only issue I’ve ever had with this lovely flaxseed meal! Nicely priced at $3.99 for 16 #organic ounces.

Great value at Trader Joe’s. So many uses. I use it to make flaxseed “eggs” for an egg replacement. But I also use it in protein shakes, I add it to baked goods and I even add it to pinko breadcrumbs if I fry anything (just for extra goodness!)
I’m using this in my oatmeal lately and I like the flavor it adds. It’s very good for you!
I have been throwing this into my smoothies and smoothie bowls for breakfast in the mornings and it’s great 👍🏽
