Non-dairy chocolate mochi

Nice and chewy! Dairy free versions are hard to find. I’m glad my local grocery has them now.

Bubbies non-dairy & coconut based chocolate mochi is super yummy. 😋 The packaging recommends letting the mochi thaw for 3-4 minutes before enjoying, so it softens to its best. The rice dough wrapping is perfectly chewy. These have a low 9grams of sugar per mochi, and one is the perfect amount when you want to indulge on something sweet but not splurge. Ice cream mochi is a wonderful thing. This was my first oatmilk one, and it did not disappoint. The outer rice dough is mildly chocolatey and not too sweet,, while the inner ice cream is nicely flavored and has a smooth texture when defrosted for 2 minutes before eating. I like to eat one straight out of the freezer... it takes longer, but it last longer!!
