What caught my eyes is the special promotion. “Buy one, Free one” at Yes Natural. $2.95 per can.
I seldom buy can food because of “life energy”. I feel that when I am paying money for food, I like to buy food that nourish us- fresh food. Can food also costs more.
This can works out to be about $1.50, which I felt is cheap enough for me to buy to copy & replicate the dish with fresh ingredients.
I like the most about this product is the good ingredients. In other words, no added colours 🫤 no preservatives 🫤🫤 no MSG 🫤🫤🫤.
(1) Canning in itself is a way of preservation. There is no further need for preservatives.
(2) When good quality ingredients are combined together, each ingredient has its flavor & bringing many together elevates the dish. This demonstrates the culinary skill of the cook & chef. In my opinion, MSG is a lazy way to bring flavour to the dish. It doesn’t bring health. It makes little sense to me to put dollars & cents into food that contains less than desirable ingredients.
(3) colours! Adding colours?! In my opinion, loving the colours of the food I cook is accepting it for what it is. When the colour has changed after cooking, I would add other ingredients to brighten the dish. I would leave the food alone than to stain it with artificial colors.
This product is worth buying as compared to other brands based on the quality of ingredients used.
