I think it normally retails for over $6. I thought it was a pretty good deal. Plus when I noticed Dove’s proclamation that it does not test on animals, I definitely decided to get it. Surprisingly, I could not find any information on this shampoo at Dove.com, but I found the following at Walmart.ca: “Dove Men + Care Fortifying Shampoos make hair stronger and more resilient so that men can pursue their active lifestyles. Dove Men + Care Aqua Impact Fortifying Shampoo is designed for men with fine and thin hair and want moisturized hair. This shampoo for men has a formula with a powerful combination of caffeine + ocean minerals, it helps to make 3X stronger hair, leaving it visibly healthy, thicker and resilient, so that it can keep up with men’s active lifestyles – no matter what the day brings.” I didn’t realize this shampoo was designed for men with thin (thinning?) hair. That’s not me, thankfully. But I’m more than happy to try it. Also, according to Walmart.ca, “Out of hand Soap? Shampoo is also effective to wash hands.” Good to know. 😊 I’ve only tried washing my hair a few times with the shampoo, and my hair feels good. I must admit I don’t notice any difference from other shampoos, but I suppose that’s a good thing, or at least not a negative thing. If it’s PETA-approved, I’ll continue buying it.
