Meatless Chick’n Strips

i enjoy the taste and texture of this chicken alternative. the strips are larger than i expected, and they do definitely taste like chicken! i served mine w bbq sauce on a chick’n sandwich, but i did try one plain to make sure they were palatable. you have to be sure to cook them completely; if they’re not fully cooked, they will definitely be a little soggy and the texture is not quite there. i cooked mine for a little longer than necessary to ensure they had a good texture, but it was worth it for sure. the price is a little high, but i was able to catch them on sale at publix (bogo — i got the be’f tips too) so look out for sales! #veganchicken #chicken #gardein #meatalternative

I love the Gardein brand! I like to inform people: they are a one-stop shop for all mock meats. This particular product is nice. I highly recommend cooking these with some rice and garnishing your dish with herbs. Enjoy! #veganin2023 #vegan #veganchicken #gardein

This was possibly one of the better mock chickens I’ve tried. Shame I can’t get it super easily where I live but I’ll definitely be buying again. Handy it’s frozen and resealable bag. I’ll stock up next time I see it!

These chick'n strips are a nice versatile product. Add them to salads, pastas, fajitas, sandwiches, etc. If I'm in a hurry, I can microwave them but they come out a bit soggy that way (still good though!). I prefer these over the morning star strips. They are a bit expensive in my opinion and I can often find cheaper alternatives at Grocery Outlet. Even still, this is widely available and not bad to have from time to time.

As with other Gardein products, I really like the texture and taste of the Chik'n strips. They do resemble the taste of chicken, but I'm not a fan of the price. Still tastes so good though!!
