An American that loves Marmite? I find few things more hilarious than people on YouTube who eat a spoonful of Marmite and exclaim how horrifying it is. That’s kind of like having a spoon of flour and claiming you don’t like bread. Sure, to the untrained palate, it tastes kind of like liquefied aluminum, yet strangely addictive, and a wonderful source of B12. Here I’m having it on a slice of wheat toast with plant butter, a sprinkle of flax meal, and some pumpkin seeds. Marmite is best If you put a thin layer, however, I’ve been eating it long enough that I am perfectly happy with amounts that would freak out your average American. I consider vegans to be above average, so if you’re vegan, give it a shot.  But start with tiny amounts and work your way through the entire jar before you make up your mind. To your own astonishment, you may find yourself purchasing a second jar.🌱
