Garam Masala

I finally found a garam masala blend that’s worth getting😇 It might sound like a no-biggie to anyone who lives in India🇮🇳 and South Asia in general, it’s no small feat for me🎉 All the other brands (US ones obviously) I’ve checked before were composed of 5-6 spices that I could easily grab from my pantry. This is the first one that contains double the varieties of spices🔥 The balance is great (no outstanding fragrance of one single spice) and the pungency doesn’t lie. It really made a difference to the red lentil curry I cooked over the weekend🍛. Even with all the other seasonings, the layers and depth it brought to the dish was undeniable🌈 Not a fan of the plastic shaker though. I wish they sold paper packed “refills” but that doesn’t seem to be the case😢 Still, I’m thrilled about the finding, especially coming from a family owned business. #spice #seasoning #garammasala #indianfood #southasianfood
