Whole foods new vegan fish free tuna is awesome. I made my husband a sandwich for his lunch and he had no idea it was vegan. He was shocked. It's REALLY GOOD!!

I’m really not sure how to describe this. Astronaut Tuna Salad?!? It is a thing unto itself! Don’t go in hoping for a close vegan substitute for the fish based version. Not bad at all but not something I need to keep stocked in the fridge. I have no idea what is in it or how nutritious it is. The container I came home with had the ‘mock chicken salad’ label attached (your guess is as good as mine-lol!) This salad is light but surprisingly filling-good for a quick/no fuss meal. Be warned that it’s quite heavy on the red onions! (Which might be a dealbreaker for some.)
If I could give 100 stars I would ... tuna melt was my go to order when dining out in my pre-vegan days ... I have tried a lot of not tuna, tuna products to create the perfect not tuna melt ... today was that day :) I don’t know how they did it but this even has that temporary fishy aftertaste ... in a good way ... this is the best ... I only got a little cause I didn’t know if it would be good... hoping to get back to get more ... this small container was enough for two sandwiches... which I thought was a good deal... #abillionlove
