Another great product from Romeo & Vero! Super grateful to these guys for making veganism so easy

Loved it! These guys are Boss 💪🏾 These steaks could've been flame grilled for a shorter time but thats on me. Flavourwise, to me, it's perfectly seasoned with salt & pepper and I love them as is without marinade. I previously reviewed their steaks and at the time never realized the ones in my review were called Potjie Steak... Purchased from The Vegan Life as the last market was rained out.

This product was impressive especially since to cook it you only had to put it in the micro for 3 minutes. However I much preferred the chicken kebabs and fillet but that’s just my preference! :) I do however wish that it was more affordable. R86 for 2 portions... I know they’re large but it is pricey. But it’s actually okay as it makes it like a luxury treat, I just wonder how it might affect their business if people only buy them on special occasions. It would be nice to have a product one can afford regularly for a braai since that’s something we do so often in South Africa.

Probably not the best pic but this was a very tasty piece of vegan steak made from mushrooms! The similarity to the flavour of braaied meat was incredible.

Haven’t tasted these yet, But well impressed with the price and look of this new meat alternative ;)
