Daydreaming About Donuts

I liked this protein bar quite a bit! It was pretty sweet, especially the icing coating, and it was really dense and chewy. Yummy flavour, although not exactly donut (of course I didn’t expect it to be). It did have that drying out the mouth texture that many protein bars have, so you can’t eat it without chugging some water throughout. 🍩

neither my sister or i really liked this Daydreaming About Donuts Trubar- honestly it’s not terrible and it’s nowhere near the worst protein bar i've ever tried but the flavor lacks donut and seems more like super sweet confectioner’s sugar in not the best way. 🍩

Muy buena, textura densita pero suave, no sabe a donut pero el glaseado es rico y tiene buen balance de dulzor. Con 12gr de proteína, 3mg de hierro y muy buena composición, son ideales para complementar un desayuno que no tenga otra fuente de proteína.

Very sweet and chewy. Pretty clean ingredients if you care about it. 190 calories and 12g of protein. It tastes like a candy bar!

If you are daydreaming about donuts this will greatly disappoint you. But if you are looking for a different flavor of #vegan, #glutenfree, #soyfree protein bars with decently #simpleingredients then this is worth a try. The inside is a bit powdery, but no more than most protein bars, and the exterior gives a nice glaze like covering that moistens it a bit. Not the coating can be a bit sticky at times so beware of that in warmer weather (I suggest having it with cold foods to keep it from melting and becoming more sticky).
