Hard pass. I went with the air fry option... Oh no, definitely not for me. Thought I'd enjoy it after my first awesome tempeh experience from the Indonesian food truck but nope, this wasn't good at all.

First time trying tempeh - I think it is the kind of product that could easily be an acquired taste. It’s something different, but I have grown to like it. I bought the regular one too (but haven’t tried it yet); the regular one is much higher in protein than this BBQ marinated one (BBQ one has 14.6g of protein per 125g serving, whereas the regular one has 20.8g of protein per 85g serving). I’m also excited to season and marinate the regular one however I want to, but I’m grateful that this BBQ one exists for the sake of convenience. Very quick and easy to prepare in the airfryer. This is so nice in a sandwich or wrap. Also handy when you’ve forgotten to marinade your tempeh. The bbq flavour is subtle, so I do add some paprika and chilli. #tempeh #protein #veganprotein
