I made waffles 🧇 for #InternationalWaffleDay with this plain Alpro yoghurt. Here’s the #veganrecipes #recipes:

1 ¾ cup whole wheat pastry flour
* 1 tbsp baking powder
* 1 tbsp sugar
* ¼ tsp salt
* 1 ¾ cups nondairy milk (or any nondairy milk)
* 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
* 2 tbsp flaxmeal
* ½ cup vegan yogurt (replace with ¼ cup applesauce and ¼ cup more milk)
How to make it:
1. Whisk the dry ingredients -- flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt -- in a large bowl.
2. Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl and mix until everything's moistened and there is no dry flour visible, but don't overmix. Some lumps are fine.
3. Heat a waffle iron and spray with cooking spray or brush on oil.
4. Add batter according to the size of the waffle maker you have.
5. Decorate and #enjoy
All Alpro plain soya products (like the yogurt and the milk) have a bit strange
after taste. It's still good and I would buy it again, as I mostly use it for sauces and dips. 😊 #veganisnotscary #alpro #veganyogurt
