
This is a vegan version of wanton dumpling. The wanton skin was really smooth and very very light. The filling was made of soy and it was so soft that it almost melted in the mouth. The Wantons were springy, chewy and it went well with the vegetable broth. The soup also contained a health portion of green vegetables that complemented very well. Although the wanton was not the same as the non-vegetarian feeling, I still liked it.
Wanton was not that good but they were very generous!
The wonton skin was smooth and light. The filling was tasty but not a fan of too much mush in replacement of mince meat. It went well with the soup (i love my soups). Generous with the portion as well.
Wantons were springy chewy. Broth needs tweaking though, a lil flat for me.
This is a great sharing dish for a group. Everyone gets a few wanton or dumpling and vegetables in soup, while still enjoying our own mains. The wanton is made with a soy filling.
