Vegan Nutella Flapjack Stack

1000th review 🎉 It’s been such a pleasure being a part of the abillion community for the last year and a half! ❤️ This flapjack stack has been on my must try list for so long (since I saw it reviewed here!) and I’m so pleased I got to try it 🥞 In terms of presentation, this dish is stunning! The flapjacks were incredibly fluffy and the chocolate sauce was decadent and generous, although I found it could have been a bit sweeter. The selection of fruit added a welcoming texture and taste, with the sweet banana and slightly tart berries 🍌🍓🫐 to make a balanced dish. I opted for oat milk ice cream instead of coconut cream on the side and it was pleasant, albeit not that strong in taste. Once blended with the chocolate sauce, though, it was great. The service at Juvenate was friendly, and the restaurant is beautiful - so warmly decorated and inviting (third picture) 🍉☀️🌸 There are so many wonderful looking options on the menu - I’d love to come back and try some more! The flapjacks came to R140 (R124 + R16 extra for ice cream swap). You can also get gluten free flapjacks for an extra R10. SO YUM! A thick, fluffy stack of pancakes smothered in a delicious chocolate sauce with some coconut cream and caramelized banana on the side. Would definitely recommend!

Oh wow. These left me speechless! Super fluffy and thick pancakes that where totally decked out to the nines 🥞 😍 the chocolate sauce isn’t overly sweet, but still gives a really good indulgent feel.
