Vegan history waffle

Don’t look at this rating cause I’m sure it’s objectively very good, I just really didn’t like it 🥲 To begin with, this was a very hot day. This restaurant is located in the very centre of Brussels. So there were an INSANE (😭) amount of people on the streets. We hated it. (Not to mention driving in Brussels is extremely stressfull, do NOT come by car!) Then, i’m so sorry if this sounds rude but it’s not meant to be i swear! 😭 But flemish people generally tend to be more preserved, shy and quiet. Whilst people from Brussels, or the French in general, tend to be more loud and socially outgoing. This bothered us alot since the personel was even louder than the customers, they were constantly talking and laughing and it was not fun… It’s rare to find a savory waffle in Belgium, it’s just very weird to us. So i was curious to try it! But i hated it! 🥲🥲 Sorry, but waffles are for sweet things like chocolate or fruit!! 🍓🍫🥝 Anyways, i think we will come back but on a more rainy day and by train maybe 😅 This is not an all vegan restaurant, but they do have lots of options! 😋 #veganinbrussels #savourypastry #veganin2023

Nice gluten free waffle. Ingredients are vegan bacon, vegan mozzarella, avocado, arugula, sun-dried tomatoes. The vegan bacon was delicious! Cannot say the same for the avocado, which imo was not ripe, and for the mozzarella (for this, it is just my personal opinion). Something is to improve but the taste is overall nice. Price= 14 euros #glutenfree #waffles

Mamma mia che buono!! Waffle con bacon, mozzarella (ovviamente entrambi veg), avocado, pomodorini secchi e rucola. Mi è piaciuto molto, la base si waffle è molto neutra, perfetta per i sapori forti del condimento. Unica pecca è il piatto, troppo piccolo e insulso, usciva tutto ogni volta che tagliavo. Ah anche il prezzo, 14€ non sono pochi per questo tenendo conto che non è enorme, seppur rempia abbastanza

The waffle was great and the vegan bacon even better 😍 Also the juice as super delicious and fresh! I took the one with orange, lemon and ginger! Yet the restaurant it’s very pricy :(

I give you ✨savoury waffle✨!!! The savoury waffles at The Sister are chickpea and rice flour based, which adds a really nice flavour to them! This waffle was topped with vegan mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes, tempeh bacon, avocado, and sprouts! It was SO delicious!
