Truffle Mushroom Risotto

Don't expect the typical risotto. Taste is to my liking though. Grains are hard, take some time to chew. #veganisnotscary

I definitely would not call this risotto!!! The rice was a bit on the hard side but I love hard rice so I didn’t mind it. It’s super flavourful and I really enjoyed the truffle!! This restaurant isn’t that vegan-friendly though... most menu items have egg or milk in it.

Love the different texture of the grains infused with truffle. Agree with the majority, it is more of a boiled rice than risotto. But very nice! (main dish of the 5-course set @ $26.80++)

Doesn't really taste like risotto—it's not mushy enough in my opinion. Probably due to the black rice grains. More like rice in soup. Good mushroom flavour though.

This risotto dish tasted better previously, it seems watered down and with less hearty gravy. It incorporated 7 different kinds of rice and some mushrooms and vegetables, so it was quite filling and colourful nonetheless. Taste wise, it doesn’t meet expectations of what risotto should be. Tastes more like Mui Fan.
