Tom yam mee hoon kueh

my first time having mee hoon kueh and it was a really yummy and filling bowl of noodles. not too spicy too!

Nothing is better than a hot bowl of tom yum soup. The noodles are super chewy too. On normal days, they would add spinach but all they were left with was cabbage so that's my dish looks very unhealthy 😬 They check if you can take alliums before adding garlic oil(?). The bowl is pretty huge too, and it's $7 for tom yum, $5.50 in veggie soup. The stall is on the left side of the kopitiam, andis called "veggie food"

So many things to like about this Tom Yum. The soup, for one, was flavourful but not too spicy. The handcut noodles (separated from the soup for my takeaway) was chewy and absorbed enough of the soup to be interesting. And the toppings, ranging from mushrooms to chewy tofu pieces (as well as the generous helping of spinach) helped make for a satisfying meal.
