This was phenomenal. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and when dipped in
the sweet plum sauce it was heavenly. 😍
Food aside, I thought this place was a little weird.... I walked in with a Lipton Tea bottle which I bought at 7Eleven, and I was sipping on it to quench my thirst before they brought my food out. Almost immediately a waitress approached me and said "sorry no outside food allowed", so I had to put it away. (I could understand if I walked in there eating a bloody pizza, come on now!) I also noticed boxes of Kleenex on every table. I thought, "great! I can blow my nose", but I didn't do that because I saw some of the other Chinese customers in there using the Kleenex as napkins 🤡. And last of all, after I paid for my food they gave me a free gift. A restaurant calendar. Lol, I thought, what kind of crazy place is this?!
But all of that weirdness aside, I could tell that this restaurant is very authentic. Everyone could speak Chinese. It was pretty good food, but a bit too weird for me to return here.
