Spaghetti Aglio Olio with Truffle Oil

If you can call drowning your #pasta in #truffleoil and #oliveoil a valid cooking technique, then these guys are stupendously good at what they do 😋 The truffle is so present, and really exalts the flavour of everything else. From the #spaghetti cooked just a little past al dente, to the #cherrytomatoes and the crispy rasher of #fakebacon. But most of all, of the true pièce de resistance, the slices of #kingoystermushroom, grilled and charred to a magnificent flavour and texture ☺️ Meal slots in Penang are precious; that I'd give one up to have pasta tells you how convinced I was/am about what magic these guys can do 🙂

Their #truffle game is strong here 🦾 Just as good as their #vegancheese! 🙌 This dish features their in-house #veganparmesan 🧀 No word on wether it’s nut-free though, but none of us were able to discern. They pull it off so well! The weird slab of brown that rests atop a dish is a crispy #veganbacon that I assume they also make in-house 🐩 The #spaghetti was cooked perfectly, #aldente, and the #mushroom on the other hand perfect to the point of melting on the tongue 👅 Can this place do no wrong?
