Silver Fern partners with the nearby The Herbivorous Butcher, so almost all of their sandwiches
can be made vegan! This one is made with HB chicken, HB truffle havarti, house-made confit tomato, arugula, nut-free pesto, and balsamic reduction all on house-made focaccia. I really loved this sandwich on a warm day. The pesto was strong enough to come through, but it didn't overpower all of the other great flavors! The truffle was a nice touch that I wasn't expecting. The focaccia was almost cracker-like after being in the panini press which I found unique. It made it a bit harder to eat, but the texture wasn't exactly unwelcome.
