Roasted Tofu Roll

@eatfusian has the best #vegan sushi in Columbus , hands down. Even though they only have 1 vegan roll. That tempura on top is the best ! Today we tried the sweet sticky rice , comes with sweet coconut 🥥 milk, dark chocolate 🍫 and strawberry 🍓It’s sort of Mexican arroz con leche , it’s vegan and delicious!

I hadn't been to Fusian for a few years. Actually, the last time was the night before covid quarantine started. I've always enjoyed their bowls, but I never thought their sushi was the best quality. I was really pleased when I decided to give it another go. The rice still isn't what I'd call sushi rice. It's not sticky enough and falls apart. I do appreciate that they use brown rice, though. They've really updated their menu as well to include more options, including #vegan options like building your own Ramen bowl. This roll had sesame roasted tofu, avocado, cucumber, and carrot. You can opt for seaweed or a soy sheet. I got the seaweed, which is a great source of minerals! The roll is then stopped with their housemade sweet soy sauce. I loved the flavor of this roll, and it was the perfect size. My only real complaint is the price. This roll was almost $11 with no customizations. You can find much cheaper rolls at the many sushi restaurants around Columbus. The taste is great, but it's just not the best value out there. #sushi #veganfortheanimals #ohio #sustainable
