Rice Paper Rolls

These #ricepaper rolls were ok. I certainly have has other ones so much better. These ones were lacking flavor, even the sauce, it wasn’t creamy, it was like very liquid and not the right consistency, not very tasty. One good thing is that all veggies inside and everything was really fresh. But I probably wouldn’t order these again. We actually wanted to order the fried spring rolls but I screwed up and ordered the wrong thing haha. My boyfriend and I (now he’s my husband) were celebrating 3 years of our relationship and went to this restaurant, it’s an #asianfood restaurant in Costa Rica called Nación Sushi, and it’s mostly southeast #asian flavors. I usually like it a lot since they are flexible to veganize things for me. The service is good and friendly, good beers and the place is neat and very pretty decorated! Wish I had taken more pics haha but we were happy celebrating our 3 years together ❤️ so we still enjoyed the bland #ricepaperroll haha. These were $5 and there were 2, so I guess it’s ok. We actually wanted the fried spring rolls but my gf got confused and ordered these ones lol they were ok, but just like bland to me, they didn't have a lot of flavor, they came with a peanut based sauce that I didn't really love either, probably won't have them again, we still ate them though lol
