pistachio donut

this Pistachio Donut was okay but i personally think valkyrie has way better flavors! the pistachio taste came through a little but it was more of a slight hint to regular flavor donut icing. maybe could do with some actual pistachios or something. 🍩 📍Valkyrie Doughnuts ~ Orlando, FL

while this was a delicious and well made donut, the pistachio flavor didn’t come through as much as i expected it to. the donut was just a regular donut, and that donut was not dry or chewy at all; valkyrie donuts makes quality donuts with excellent texture. the frosting was pistachio, and the texture and flavor were good but not totally reminiscent of pistachio. this would definitely be better for someone who prefers a lighter pistachio flavor or because it was almost closer to a vanilla than pistachio. that being said, it was still a really good donut and i loved the frosting color!
