This vegan pub in London was a real surprise. All waitress are very welcoming and so nice to explain all the dishes on the menu (which to be fair could be more explicative in terms of ingredients and description). So this pie apparently is a tipical London dish, filled with fake meat and lentils, accompanied by potato mash (something that vegans in UK can't only dream of), all floating on a persil sauce (called liquor, not sure why). It's a delicacy when added with pepper and vinager. It was really nice, always happy when I have the chance to try authentic local food in vegan option.


The "Pie, Mash and Liquor" at The Spread Eagle vegan pub is an excellent vegan take on the traditional British classic.
