Oat Masala Chai from The Chai Baba

Amazing how it's still so hot and so good. I love this place

It costs $7 on the menu, but after taxes it went up to $8+? I got a shock. It's not that huge a cup either... I love The Chai Baba's oat masala chai but this price is high to justify the indulgence...

The best chai latte ever! It's spiced with masalla, which makes it feel so warming and nourishing. Could drink this every day!

Have to say this is the most homely chai I've had in town! Okay honestly I don't have chai outside very often, so this is essentially the chai I would have at home occasionally, made with warmth, intention, and all the right flavours. The assortment of spices that make chai, chai, come through. Lightly sweetened, and I'm sure it will be equally good without the sweetness. It's brewed with oat milk, so you don't have to request to swap from dairy to non-dairy milk. And those earthen tea cups too.. In love! From what I've observed, the lady behind The Chai Baba really puts her soul into her work and her brews. This was from a charity book drive she held at the cozy East Coast Commune.
