So beautiful. Manis Sayur, a species that is native to this region, and we cannot recommend it enough. Served with scrambled turmeric tofu. All kinds of beautiful. It’s awesome on its own, and pairs well with a side of rice too. I cannot recommend this enough. #eatlocal #馬尼菜 #manissayur #nativespecies #tofu A lovely restaurant with vego and vegan versions of peranakan & nyonya delights. Menu is pretty vegan-friendly, non-ve items not labelled, but we just told them up front that we were after a fully vegan meal and they advised us accordingly, they were really sweet and helpful. A lovely place to bring the family or guests from out of town. Menu in english and chinese. #veganinsingapore #vegetarianrestaurant #nyonya #peranakan #vegannyonya #nyonyabusiness

That was d only minus point. If not, i pretty much like all the food here. This was fried with mashed #tofu to perhaps replace eggs, which im fine with.
Soft and sweet leaves, stir-fried with a scrambled tofu of sorts in lieu of eggs, alongside some shredded ginger. 🥬🍳🫚 Pleasantly surprised by how tasty this was, despite appearing deceptively simple and homey! (I mean NGL it low-key looked like baby food 👶🏻) TBH I'm usually hesitant to spend money on vegetable stir-fries at Asian restaurants as they don't seem very value-for-money, but no regrets ordering this~ Mani Cai 马尼菜 isn't that commonly available either since it isn't grown in Singapore. Also can I just say, since young I've always liked tender leaves and not fibrous stems, so I was secretly delighted to have a vegetable dish purely consisting of.... 🌿 LEAVES 🌿 ahaha (Allium-free, $15.90) #sgvegan #chinesefood #peranakan #nyonya #alliumfree #wholefoodplantbased #wfpb
