Mala Chicken Burger

We are VIPea member, so we got discount off the price of $6.50. The burger is a simple meal with bun, patty, lettuce and sauce. I understand that the price is very affordable but the presentation and taste is underwhelming. I like going to Everyday Vegan Grocer because everything from the staff to the store has a nice homely feel. I’m sure EVG will continue to get better and better in everything that it does. We must continue to support each other! Jiayou Amanda!

The Mala sauce is spicy 🌶 which is expected from a Mala sauce. The vegan Chicken patty is disappointingly dry. The buns are soft but very dry too. The lettuces are a little too little… The vegan Mayo doesn’t go well with the Mala.. it is like a crash of East & West. Cost: $6.50 Overall, I don’t go hungry but I won’t repeat the purchase again. It is nice to have quick bites while shopping in a vegan mart. But I guessed I will just stick to the vegan fish burger. It definitely tastes better. #veganeasychallenge

Finally, the Mala Chicken burger from Everyday Vegan Grocer. I asked for a less spicy version but the Mala flavour was still super obvious and prominent. Really affordable ($6.50 only) and worth every penny :) PS: No dine-in available, take-away only.
