
I love Japanese eggplant. I'm growing some in my garden right now! These melted in your mouth and were BURSTING with flavour. I hadn't tried it before and was happily surprised. It went well with the truffle rice. It was described as "thai basil, yuba, peanuts, szechuan pepper, lime" and was around $14. I'd recommend!!
Very good! The mild flavour of schezuan pepper comes through nicely. It's a lively restaurant with Asian themed decor and dim lighting.
The broth had such a delicious flavour. This dish will warm you right up on a cold night. Chewy yubba and soft eggplant
I should have got rice to go with this but I was too hungry and tired to think of that. It was a little heavy on the oil but tasty despite that. I think the roasted peanuts could have been kept seperate so that they would maintain their crunchiness until ready to eat.
