Jungle Tamale

Loved supporting a fully vegan joint in Reno! But truthfully it was super expensive and the tamales were just kinda “ok”.HUGE portion but it was all masa. I wish I would have tried something else on the menu.

An entire vegan restaurant with authentic food?? Yes please! I haven’t had a tamale in four years since I ate meat and have been missing them ever since. The al pastor (mock steak) flavor had a little heat but not too much. It felt really great to eat authentic food that’s vegan 🥰
