Omg this was #sogood! Had this at #consciousfestivalsingapore. Never had anything like it it’s so interesting!!! The stuffing was Impossible. 2 for $16 was pretty pricey and not that filling, very yummy though. Be prepared to get your hands dirty as they’ve to be unwrapped. It was quite dry and I needed a lot of their green salsa to wash it down which was fabulous by the way! It’ll be great to have some veggies for a more balanced meal and not just the Impossible meat. It can be lettuce on the side as well, or something in the tamale itself - maybe they can make it like a burrito with more ingredients inside like beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, greens etc. I hope they sell these at their regular restaurant! They were so good and I hope they can keep up the great vegan options!!!
This dish was especially put together by Vatos for the annual Concious festival by Green Is The New Black. One word: Delicious! Streamed for 24 hours, this was a traditional Mexican recipe passed to the lovely cook from his grandma. Looking forward to checking out Vatos’ restaurant for their vegan menu :D
