It's been a couple weeks since I've been to Hi Flora, and it seems like they've really been working on their menu. There were quite a few new offerings, and these shells really caught my eye on their Instagram page. Unfortunately, they took a really long time to come out of the kitchen. Everyone else at my table had their food for like 15 minutes before my dish came out. I'm not sure if that's normal for these shells or if they just had a hiccup. Anyway, I felt these were worth the wait! The cashew cream sauce was very flavorful and was blended beautifully. It was incredibly creamy! The walnut pesto was really nice. It's in a couple globs that you have to mix into the cream sauce. It's flavorful enough to hold up to the sauce, but doesn't overpower. There's also a drizzle of chili oil, which adds the perfect kick. This entree is $20, which felt very reasonable for the size.
