Gong Bao “Chicken” with Peanuts

On the trip to #London we couldn’t miss out on some #Chinese food and we went to this excellent #veganrestaurant which was recommended to us (and which has the most #vegan name ever😁). The first dish was #gongbao chicken with #peanuts: the #mockmeat was super soft and flavourful and even if it was all a little bit too spicy for my low tolerance, I absolutely loved it!!

There were 3 different Gong Bao in the menu, one with mushrooms, one with tofu and this one with “chicken”. The chicken was just tofu so I don’t know how it is any different than the tofu gong bao. The sauce was very sticky so didn’t look very appealing.
