Economic Rice

Normally, I would find $5.80 for Cai png too expensive, especially for takeaway only, but the taste totally makes up for it. The satay 'mutton' was delish, generous, and fused with fresh lemon grass, herbs and spices. A good basic stir fry cabbage. The sweet and sour 'chicken' was also a delightful edition. Remember to ask for their vegan nasi Lemak sambal. Not the sad sambal they put in a squeeze bottle, but the good stuff they keep at the back! P.s. Sorry for the photo, I assure you it tastes better than it looks!

Ordered brown rice with hairy gourd, broccoli + cauliflower and tou gan. The veggies are fresh and crunchy. I’m quite sad that I was only given one broccoli though😭😭😭 Overall, this is a very average meal. But if you ever see that their pumpkins are available, order them!!! They are my favourite pumpkins after the ones my mum cooks (maybe because I’m always eating from the same stalls ☹️). About the stall, I’m slightly upset about buying my dinner here :( not because the food taste bad! they are really good! But because the food is either sold out very early or is not ready yet😫 I wanted to try their signature dish today but it was only sold later. Then, I ordered the wanton noodles instead which was sold out too!!! *sad noises* So I ate economic rice tonight😭 (still a decent meal)

Not going to be my favourite dish. But had a try because whenever I'm there I get the wanton mee/laksa/meesiam lol. *Note that otah contains eggs. I didnt do enough homework thus I had a bite on it and thats when I realised. 😣

this was goooood. not sure what the ‘chicken’ was made of haha its soft & chewy! nicenice. the fried dumplings were great too. love it!
