chocolate cake with fig jam

(cake at the bottom left hand corner) this was really a miss for me :-//// the chocolate cake tasted very average and was pretty dense and dry. the fig jam was nice but didn't really add anything to the cake either. really wanted to like this but it was underwhelming.
