Chickn Mayo And Vacon Toastie (The Vegan Chef)

Great sandwich, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I didn't agree that this vegan version doesn't come with chips where the non-vegan one on the menu does. A tad unfair in my opinion. Other than that, the sandwich itself was yummy. #sandwich 🥪

R81, no chips. Very dry, had no mayo. I expected the plain grilled chickn shredded, rather than smashed pieces of the Southern fried chickn, like I had from TVC Midrand. The vacon tastes kinda bacony but I was never a 🥓 fan.

My first taste of The Vegan Chef's sit-down menu at Gia's on Montrose, and I really enjoyed the toasted sandwich. It was so good, I can't wait to have it again when I am next in Joburg.

Pretty good toastie, would definitely order again. The chickn Mayo was really nice and saucy. The Vacon also tasted quite nice. Really impressed by Gia’s new Vegan menu by the Vegan Chef
