Cai Po Chee Cheong Fun (Veganised)

They removed the chilli to be veganised. Didn't feel much radish though but lotsa shallots

Found in Fortune Centre, Yat Ka Yan is known for its local desserts such as tangyuan, but I was far more in the mood for fried shallots, spring onions and cai po (preserved radish), aka toppings for this super-savoury take on chee cheong fun. Reminiscent of the breakfast chee cheong fun from Ipoh, except the Ipoh-made variety is a lot silkier like their famous hor fun. Overall really enjoyable. #asktoveganize and omit chilli (contains dried shrimp).
