Blaze Pizza

Blaze Pizza is a Pasadena, California–based fast-casual pizza restaurant chain, founded by Rick and Elise Wetzel in 2011. The chain's first location was opened in Irvine, California, in August 2012. The chain serves made-to-order pizzas, with a choice of various sauces and toppings. The pizzas are cooked in a high-temperature open-flame oven with an average cook time of three minutes. The only piece of cooking equipment inside each of the restaurants is an oven.

Usually, I don’t really have vegan versions of unhealthy food items based on the fact that they’re only marginally healthier than the original, so I save them for treats on my WFPB diet. However - this dish was amazing. The gluten free crust, vegan cheese, pizza sauce, and savory toppings were just amazing. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to “scratch an itch” for having pizza!

Our pizzas were all amazing!! Blaze offers vegan cheese for no additional charge. Build-your-own pizzas are Wood-Fired in 180 seconds. BYO allows for unlimited toppings at NO extra charge (including extra vegan cheese). Multiple vegan sauce options. Some vegan topping options include roasted garlic, minced garlic, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, roasted peppers, onions, olives, spinach, basil, and many more!!! This is such a great value, especially for unlimited toppings 💚 They even do glove changes and use different pizza cutters.
