
Great dish to start the day! The pumpkin hummus had a nice smooth texture, and wasn't too sweet, which I was worried about. The bakon had a good balance of sweet and smokey. Portion size is great. Ordered with the tofu scramble due to other reports of the vegan fried egg being weird, and it was delicious! I don't normally like a lot of tofu scrambles, but this one had good flavor, and good texture with firm tofu. Would definitely order again.
VEGAN FRIED EGG!! 😯 I had to try this when I saw it on the menu. My honest thoughts - it was realistic in texture, but tasted a little rubbery. The taste was okay when paired with the rest of the breakfast plate, but I wasn't a fan of the #veganfriedegg on its own. Maybe it's just been a while since I ate fried egg and I've forgotten how rubbery they actually are! 😆 A fun novelty menu item, but I don't think I'd order it again. I much prefer scrambled tofu. The rest of this #breakfast was very tasty, though!
Overall I would say this meal was good. However, the most substantial things were the toast, mushrooms and hashbrown. Everything else sort of felt like sauces to accompany those things. The egg yolk for instance was great but was just really a sauce. The egg white wasn’t very tasty in my opinion (tasted quite coconutty) but everything else individually was tasty. The bacon wasn’t very substantial however. Just thin strips of eggplant that were tasty but didn’t go far. Would still recommend.
Loved everything in this plate. Pumpkin hummus was interesting and tasty. I was amazed by the vegan egg! Such a creative sunny side up I’ve ever eaten. The white part tasted coconuty with a texture like a traditional indonesian glutinous cake. Still wondering what the gooey yellow part was made of. All in all was really satisfied with this dish I devoured everything clean.
Oooo i loved everything. The hummus w the crumbs was the highlight of the dish, finished it clean. Vegan egg was .. interesting? Made of flour or smth. But not really my thing
