Back in SG and back at Lian Xin! The fried rice vermicelli is a carb-y staple here at breakfast timings. Paired this with classic curry vegetable gravy. Would have liked the gravy to be less watery and more 'lemak' and thicker. Still good though.

A hidden gem under the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, this vegetarian restaurant serves pastries, breads, desserts, and meals from 7am! Perfect place to stop for breakfast, where I got a meal set of noodles with three sides. Each side was really delicious, especially the potato curry that had something that tasted very much like chicken. The green beans were also so yummy cooked in a delicious sweet soy sauce, and the tofu was topped with these softened soy beans and crunchy bits. Loved everything on the plate! Although the noodles are not super exciting, they’re more of a vehicle for the other ingredients. 4.50 SGD for this plate!

$4 for this! Everything was cooked nicely and not too oily or salty. This place has very nice and affordable vegan/vegetarian food and their menu for the noodle/western stall changes every day #veganisnotscary #veganuary
