Homemade casarecce pasta in a cherry tomato and chilli sauce, topped with kawakawa pesto, grated blanched almonds, fried greens, and olive oil. The olive oil was a vibrant green, but the main flavour I could pick out was orange zest 🍊 the kawakawa pesto was salty and nutty, and overall beautifully presented and balanced flavours. While the prices are on the higher end at the Gables, the ambience and experience here feel worth it.
