If you’re in Kamakura city, make sure to stop by this funky looking restaurant: Kousaiken 香菜軒. They offer delicious vegan options and I recommend you to try their special course menu. It costs 2.000 yen, but it’s worth every yen - the food is tasty, versatile and very filling. 🥰 The restaurant is very small and it is best to call ahead and reserve, especially if you go in a bigger group (we have been there with 5 people). Have you been there already or want to go? Let me know in the comments below 👇🏻 🌱I saved this place in my Google maps list. Make sure to follow the list and add your favorite vegan places in Japan!
For about 1300 yen you get a full set meal. Miso soup, rice and pickles included. The vegetables are well seasoned and go nicely with the hijiki seaweed spring rolls. The shop is pretty unique and run by a couple of nice married human beings. Almost like tucked away camping outback shackhouse. Worth a visit
