Great little #buildyourown ramen bowl stall in a busy food court beneath Taipei 101. Fully vegan, including various #mockmeat, tofu and plenty of veg options. You put what you want in a bag, take it to the counter and they build it for you! My one issue with this restaurant was the waste of #singleuse plastic - EVERYTHING is plastic wrapped, and didn't look resealable, so presumably those packets all go in the bin after one use. It would be so easy to simply let customers pick up a card with a picture of the ingredients they wanted - still the same fun build-your-own experience, but without all the unnecessary waste. Surprisingly un-environmentally friendly for a vegan place. #saynotoplastic #vegantravel #vegantaipei

I’ve been to quite a lot of vegan-friendly Luwei stores and Vege Creek is still the best, not only because it’s completely vegan but also their soup tastes so damn good! I am one of those people who cares more for the noodles than the soup and doesn’t mind leaving the soup unfinished. But Vege Creek’s Luwei soup is different! I can’t get enough of it that no matter how full I am, I won’t dare to leave a drop.
