I will stand by THUNDER TEA RICE till the day i die NO JOKE. Every

time i go to a food republic which sells thunder tea rice i get so tempted to eat it but then there’s so much good food everywhere😢😢😢😢😢 Anyways i love that you can opt for brown rice wah and with all the peanuts and veg and the soup CHEF’S KISSSSSS
You can either pour the soup in or take one spoonful of the rice and dip it into the soup like a normal person, i recommend the second way zero biasness

Zoink! ⚡️ I went here again on Friday night for dinner having been super impressed

by their mushroom noodles and having @herbimetal praise their #leicha 🍵 Avoneko was curious to see what the fuss was all about and joined me in having this meal too! It’s not as good as the #thundertea at Thunder Tree it tries to replace but it’s good in its own right. Those standards are impossible to beat anyways! The soup was thick and flavourful and the rice came with the standard assortment of #tofu, long beans, nuts, radish, and an assortment of vegetables. The #sambal was just as good as before though albeit still lacking a punch as is characteristic of food on this island 🏝️ I’d get it again though if I’m eating at Food Republic! Thunder tea is really one of the most dishes of all time 😋 #veganisnotscary

Branded (#lotus) pricey at $8 (food court setting). Less rice equates to 3 mouthfuls, they're

serious about it with #tofu, #caipo, #greens making up the rest of the bowl. Best bit 👉 #tea's nothing quite like the generic ones out there with a creamy mouthfeel to it 👍

This thunder tea rice was delicious! Loaded with different vegetables, tofu, beans and edamame. The

broth was good too! Served with brown rice. Good size portion. Would return to try other things on the menu!

Generous serving of greens, a hearty medium strength tea sauce. Hoping 🤞🏻the minty basil flavours

can be stronger, but they are already delivering beyond average yummy standards in the taste department! Definitely visit them if you’re in the area!

Although the ingredients are the ubiquitous for thunder tea rice, such peanuts,.tofu and green beans,

the magic lies in the broth. It is thick, rich and creamy rather than watery and has a lovely minty , herby flavour. Costs in environs of $8.

too. I actually don't know what he asked me but he put something that was crunchy. Love the texture.

This monument of #cangkukmanis #frenchbean #pickledradish #carrot #chaisim and #peanuts were wonderfully fresh and crunchy 😊🤪 Below sits the strong foundation of hearty #brownrice 😛 which is always a bonus in the flavour department (as well as fibre💪) Each bite felt so whole and just nourishing AF 😝 It was just pure #sustenance 👌 More than anything, adding THAT #broth to the spoonful 🥹 The taste of the vegetables was just so rich and deep — never lacking umami 😙

$8 was actually worth my wallet given it was a freakin’ mountainous portion 🤩
