The meat texture was a bit like the typical Chinese mock meat but BBQ sauce was good.
Taste great! As a non vegan, I would be very willing to have this again. The fish fillet didn't feel odd for me, instead tasted very similar to the real thing. The rice was flavourful as well.
Cost: $17
My favourite from Real Foods so far. So Good! $8.80 for 4. The sauce was a great complement.
Used short grain rice (Japanese) - my guess. Rice was on the harder side. I wish it wasn't that oily. 'Belachan' was not spicy at all so it is suitable for all to eat.
Simple basic meal. Affordable considering the town location. ~ $7
Added noodles to this bowl of Tom yum soup. Not sure what to expect for a vegan Tom yum but it didn't hit my expectation. Slightly tangy more from the tomatoes but lack the spiciness. Price on the higher end too.
$10.90. It's pretty clean with a steamed mushroom patty, which has a nice substantial bite to it.
Vegan. $8.50. No GST and service charge. Add on a drink or dessert ~ $10.50. Similar to the herbal noodle at Greendot. I appreciate that it is full of natural food - tofu, lettuce, celery, carrot, corn, fresh mushroom. The more
(non vegan perspective)
It has a slight acquired taste that I was not used to. The dumplings were filling as well. After it was eaten a few hours later, the skin was still moist and didn't harden like most dumplings would.
Taste is really good, brought about by the tomatoes, olives, garlic and vegan cheese. It is a slightly soupy dish.
