This #productofsweden is pure #spirulina extract and produces the most beautiful shades of #blue like the #ocean and sky. As you can see in my smoothie bowl, there are two shades of blue. The more you add, the darker it is. I first learned about #rawnice! when I was new to abillion (I think abillion was new too) and @kaylabear posted this same product with a beautiful ocean-themed with mermaid smoothie bowl. I adore mermaids and everything ocean (Vitamin Sea is my medicine), so of course I had to check this brand out and make my own ocean-mermaid smoothie bowl. They have a whole collection of colorful, superfood powders. This is the first one I got along with the ocean kit of molds (mermaid tail and ocean critters).
Rawnice website has a collection of colorful recipes, including this ocean/beach smoothie bowl. I can’t remember if I followed the recipe exactly, but my sand is just crushed Belvita cookie. The surf is coconut flakes. Next time I make this, I’m going to toast the coconut flakes,not just for better crunchy flavor, but to give a look of sandy surf. The mermaid and shells are yogurt, as per recipe, but I really didn’t like the taste. Next time, I will try melted white chocolate.
The smoothie itself is pineapple, banana, and plant milk. Anything light-colored works with these powders. The spirulina itself doesn’t add any taste.
