#taufoofah - one of the great joys of growing up in these parts, and - nonstandard add-ons aside - largely vegan-friendly 🙂 Considering its rather uniform and muted taste profile, that it registers on my radar at all is testament to how good it must be, right? 😛

This establishment takes configurability to a new level. You can have yours with tang yuan, with black sesame paste, with #grassjelly (depicted here), plain, or with a few other options that I don't remember 😅 You get a choice of white sugar, black sugar (shown here), ginger sugar, or no sugar. Then there's a bunch of other toppings you can throw in, think tapioca pearls etc.

The above cost us RM8 per bowl, inclusive of the takeaway packaging surcharge. Not the cheapest around, but certainly reasonably good value 👍
